The Chalk Circle Suite

This comprises arrangements for 2 violins from original themes I used in the incidental music to Brecht's Play in 1970 when at Cambridge (Fitzwilliam College) The Overture and other pieces are not as difficult as they may look to the inexperienced and should give pleasure with a contemporary style that grows on you the more it is played. (Poss Grade V). It comprises 1. The Overture 2. Simon Chachava 3. Your Fathers a Thief 4. Nobody Loves You 5. It Was Spring In a different style - but used in the play was Medieval Melody - now scored for a string quartet or ensemble.
