SOSTENUTO

This piece for  string  ensemble is  slow and ever  evolving with repeated phrases for all instruments. It relies on C7 and many derivatives but  retains a tight meloduic form. If Barber can do it why not me? A little arrogant perhaps but it may lure you in  to have  a listen.

GLORIA

SOSTENUTO  spawned my GLORIA - my  first choral work  with  some  slight instrumentation as an ornament. The  range had to be adjusted  for the 4 main voices but an accompaniment in unision is available. Possibly my best work to  date.
